New Year's Resolutions

Usually I don't give New Year's Resolutions. What's the point of giving resolutions if I don't plan on following them? This year around it feels different. After kind of having in my mind what's about time for me, and what's going on in my life it was crystal clear this morning that 2010 will be the year when I will be true to myself, and I'll work hard on reaching my dreams. As Alicia Keys sings in Empire State of Mine "I got a pocket full of dreams," that's so me. It's also about time to put myself first, after putting people around me first for so many years. It's easy to loose yourself and who you are when every day life is filled with kids, spouses, partners, family, friends, relatives and co-workers.
