Today has been a good day. I feel so blessed and thankful for what I've in life. Found this picture from a couple of years ago, meanwhile I was listening to Al Green's version of "Unchained Melody."

I'm working on something online, but as every once in a while, the website keeps on freezing.. so I won't be able to finish it tonight. Oh well, I better enjoy the rest of the evening with some music like Common's Go, Toblerone and an interesting book. Have a good one!

In the afternoon we were strolling around at an Art & Soul Festival.

A vendor is selling something meaty.

Main Stage with artists like Tony Toni Tone & En Vogue. Unfortunately, we were not able to see much. But we were enjoying the great live music.

Washing The Car

Every once in a while we go to a car wash where we can wash the car by ourselves. It's nice to work on something together with my young man. Since the car doesn't get very dirty it's not about hard work, but about team work. As they sing in Wonder Pets' team song: What kind of work, teamwork.."

Late last night, I watched Cadillac Records. A movie that's been on my want to see list. Great movie. I had some knowledge about Chess Records, Etta James, Chuck Berry, and Little Walter. But now some gaps were filled with more knowledge. Good performances by Beyonce Knowles, Adrien Brody, Jeffrey Wright & Mos Def. Check it out!
