Car Accidents

Last Saturday we were heading to the city. The highway was packed with cars as always. Everything went smooth, people were driving about 70mph, and before I knew it, I needed to use my breaks hard. In the rear mirror, I saw a Bentley behind us, the driver must have slammed his breaks.. We were lucky to drive in the carpool lane, so he steered his car into the shoulder lane. When his car stopped, the trunk was parallel to me in the driver's seat. If he wouldn't been able to use the shoulder lane, we would have been hit badly.

I drive daily on the highway. From time to time I see serious car accidents. No wonder these accidents happen when people are texting, solving crosswords, reading newspaper, talking on the phone, getting dressed, putting on make up, or simply Not Paying Attention. Several times I've almost been hit because people don't check their dead angles before switching lanes. That's the cheapest car insurance one can have (to check their dead angles before switching lanes).

People pay attention! Please.

Princess Mama

My young man thinks I'm a Princess, maybe because I call him my Prince. However, yesterday he drew this one for me and said it's Princess Mama. The crown looks kind of big. Must be heavy.

Lower Back Pain

Every once in a while I get pain in my lower back. It's painful. Yesterday it was time again, and today it's really bad. Sleep, sit and walk is fine. But bending, walking in stairs and carrying things.. ouch.

This Alien came home with us from a fair. He is tall, almost my height. Still haven't made it to the pool..

Art Project

One of my young man's many art projects. This one he is working on with colored sand and glue.

Pineapple Mahi Mahi

I love tomatoes and avocado.

No ripe lemons at home made me use pineapple for yesterday's dinner to get the fish juicy enough. It turned out to be a new dish for me: Pineapple Mahi Mahi. :-)
