Magic Weather

This afternoon/eve we experienced magic weather at the beach. It was kind of hot, kind of foggy and kind of sunny. The power of the nature.

Midsummer Celebration

Celebrating Birthdays

As we get together about twice a year, this is the time of the year when we celebrate three people's birthdays. A fruit and berry cake bought in the store made our celebration very tasty.

Today we were able to catch Toy Story 3. My young man is a big fan of the Toy Story movies. The animation of the movie is amazing (thanks to Pixar).

We eat lots of fruits and berries. Love it, love it, love it. This time of the year we're eating plenty of Cherries, Strawberries and blueberries. Mmm..

Sunflower

About 2 months ago we planted sunflower seeds. The thought was to teach my young man that caring will result it something good (and pretty in this case). On his Graduation Day last Friday, we were able to enjoy 6 lovely Sunflowers in bloom.

The Heat Is Here

This weekend has been hot. Last night it was 90F at midnight. Today my young man spent 4hrs in the pool, meanwhile I spent the hours indoors, both trying to cool off.

Oprah - "I Know For Sure"

In one of Oprah's daily e-mails she wrote: "I know for sure that all experiences contribute to who we're meant to be."

How very true that is..

What A Week

What a week. My young man lost his first tooth (big thing for him), my cousin graduated from High School (big thing for her), and we attended a very nice birthday party.

I bought Chris Gardner's book "Start Where You Are," but as always it's hard to find time to read. I put the book in my bag so I can read whenever I've a couple of minutes on my hand. I think this book will be very rewarding to read. Chris Gardner is a big inspiration for me. His life story is amazing (can be read (or watched) in his biography: The Pursuit of Happyness).

The heat is back. At this moment it's cooler to be indoors than outside.

I hope you all had a great weekend. So you're refreshed for a new week.
