A Loose Tooth
The past couple of days, my young man has kept on saying that one of his teeth hurts. I was thinking it doesn't make sense, because he doesn't have any cavities as far as we know. Oh well, today as he took a bite of a hot dog bun he was screaming, my tooth, my tooth is loose!! Oh, that's what's going on, he is about to loose his first tooth! We took a look at the tooth, and yes it will be out any day now. This is very exciting for him. He went to check his tooth in the mirror every other minute, he went to tell our neighbours, and before he went to bed he said: "I cannot fall asleep before I lose my tooth." Oh well, the boy is sleeping, and the tooth is still there.

A Special Day
A couple of days ago my young man put together a celebration for me, because I'm the best one he has in the whole wide world (his words, and a popular expression for him right now - whole wide world). He decorated the living-room with balloons and drawings, made this crown for me (him and me on the picture), and poured juice in glasses. What a special day it became.
Recycling Blood
My young man is very much into recycling whatever is possible. He plans to open up a Recycle Business next to his Skateboard Store when he gets older (FYI). Today he told me he licked the blood of his finger after he cut himself on a piece of paper, so he recycled his blood.

Vegtables
Not too long ago I watched and episode of Jamie Oliver's Food Revolution. At a middle school they kept referring to french fries as an vegetable. Seriously? The other night I watched Nightline, and they checked in with some over weight kids on how they are doing in the process of eating healthier and loosing some pounds. Then I heard a mam say that her middle school son has at least learned that macaroni cheese is not a vegetable. !!?? Honestly, do people play dumb? Or did they never learn what a vegetable is? If they are dumb that's too bad. But if they don't know what a vegetable is, it's tragic.

Washing The Car
Every once in a while we go to a car wash where we can wash the car by ourselves. It's nice to work on something together with my young man. Since the car doesn't get very dirty it's not about hard work, but about team work. As they sing in Wonder Pets' team song: What kind of work, teamwork.."

Surfing On The Net
I'm listening to Pandora Radio. So many great songs meanwhile I'm planning for upcoming weeks. Save Room by John Legend is playing. Many memories to this song. As I'm surfing around (as I'm writing here) I find three great concerts I want to attend this summer. Now I need to check with my friends who wants to join me. Need to get the tickets before they are gone..

12K Walk On A Sunday Morning
Ink For Printer
How come black ink is more expensive than cyan, magenta & yellow? Same brand, same amount of ink, and for the same printer? It doesn't make sense.
And, how come it's cheaper to buy a new printer with ink, than buying the ink to the printer? Anyone? This is same kind of dilemma as the food industry.. makes me mad.

Pink Plumeria
Pink Plumeria. Favorite Flower.
A lei made of Plumeria flowers smells like heaven. This time around I was able to bring a root of Pink Plumeria with me home. I've planted it. It says the leaves will appear during the first year, and during the second year I'll be able to see the lovely blossoms. Sweet.

Explore The World
My young man has packed his bag with books, games, DIDJ, skateboard, goggles, swim pants, a lei, a small bag of Cheetos and cinnamon gifflar (mini rolls). He is all set. Now he is sleeping peacefully meanwhile I pack the rest. We're going to explore the world. One of the best things we know. Like mother, like father, like son.
