A Good Way to Start A New Week
If you are one of the many who never tried yoga, or did but gave it up after a couple of times, take a minute to watch Oprah's Dr. Oz who shows a couple of yoga positions. It's entry level. Remember that you don't have to do all the positions. Whatever positions you pick, do it a couple of times, and remember to breath. I love yoga. It makes my body feel great and my mind relaxed.

Geographic Tongue
As our family's roots cover big geographic areas around the world, it's kind of interesting that our young man has a geographic tongue. The pattern of the tongue comes very rare, but when you can see it, the pattern changes throughout the day for a couple of days, and then it's gone.
One World
Every time I hear "Where Is The Love?" by Black Eyed Peas it makes me wonder why it is so hard for every single one of us to make the world a better place? We want to progress, right?

Clean Drinking Water
It's Hot here. The easiest thing is to sit still. Outside the temperature shows 106F/41C. For breakfast, snack, lunch and snack we basically had water, ice-tea, water, juice, water and more water to cool off.. It makes me grateful over the easy access we've to clean drinking water. It makes me think about underdeveloped areas where people, most often women, have to walk far to get drinking water. I read about a great invention that is called Solvatten by Petra Wadstrom, which purifies water if it reaches a certain temperature. Hopefully Solvatten will help out lots and lots of people who don't have easy access to clean drinking water as of today.

Wild Berry Ice-Tea

Refreshments are needed for a hot day as today. Looking through our cabinet I found Celestial Seasoning's Wild Berry Zinger tea. Said and done, and voila, caffeine free Wild Berry Ice-Tea for the thirsty ones.

4 Shots & Sore Legs
It was time for the yearly physical check up for the young man. 45 minutes & four vaccination shots later he left the Dr. office with stickers and sore legs. Good thing is that next time he'll get a boost of the same vaccinations he'll be 7 years older, but he has to be back next month for a flu shoot, and the following month for a swine flu shoot. I wonder how many shots the average person gets in her/his lifetime?

Spirituality 101
A big part of today I've felt dizzy. So I decided to lay down. Instead of picking up a book or magazine, I decided to check out what's going on at Oprah.com. I found an interesting webcast called Spirituality 101. It is an 1.5hrs discussion about finding your spiritual path. Check it out!

Suze Orman
In a couple of minutes Suze Orman's weekly show is on TV. For you who are not familiar with Suze Orman you should check her webiste out. Suze Orman is a great financial advisor. I've read a couple of her books and I recommend you to do that too.

Doing Laundry with Sugar Ray
Tonight I'm doing laundry with Sugar Ray. In other words I do the laundry and the computer plays Sugar Ray. In that way it's more fun. Right now "Fly" is on, and I've two more loads to go.

"I Love You Too"

This is a heart my young man drew to me on the beach a couple of weeks ago. I'm a lucky mother who hears "I love you" from my young man almost every day. A friend wrote to me that "The Age of Your Heart is the Age of What You Love." So very true. A song that comes to my mind is "I Love You Too" by Ziggy Marley. I hope all of you hear I Love You every now and then, and that you remember to say I Love You Too.

"Dance Tonight"
After spending many hours outdoor in the sunny weather, it feels good to sit back and relax, and to watch some great videos. It does not happen as often as before, but it is as precious. One of my all time favourite is "Dance Tonight" by Lucy Pearl. It makes me remember the good times, and it makes me wanna take first plane to Honolulu so I can hit W Hotel's dance floor. Anyone want to join me?

Bare Escentuals
Let me introduce you to my favorite makeup brand Bare Escentuals. My skin gets very easy irritated and I get rushes from most makeup brands. Bare Escentuals is an exception. The makeup is composed of 100% minerals. I love it. If you have not tried one of their products, check their website to find out if they are handing out any free samples at the moment.

"Life Lessons for Busy Moms"
Almost a year ago I got this book from a good friend. I glanced through it back then, but today I took the time to read it. A main point in the book is how important it is to have a balanced life. As a busy mom it is easy to prioritize everything else except your own needs to have a fabolous life. So a shut out to all moms: Make sure to do something you like every single day. You are worth it!

Friends
Is there anything better than friends? No matter our age. Friends are the only thing we need to have fun. I am blessed with lots of friends around the world. No matter how often we meet up, it still feels like yesterday, and we know we'll have a great time together.

Ziggy Marley's Family Concert
A week ago we went to Ziggy Marley's family concert with family and friends. Sun was shining, the temperature was around 104, it was outdoors in a beautiful place up in the mountains with a view oh so great. It was perfect. It's one of those concert you don't want to be over. For all of us who wants to listening to a great song, check out "Family Time" by Ziggy Marley.
Use of Time
Have you ever thought about how you spend the hours of the day? Except from rushing through the day? When are you most productive? When do you need to spend some time alone? When do you like to be social? When do you have time for your family? Or do you have time to reflect over time at all? I think too many of us don't think about how we spend the hours of the day, instead we are rushing through another day, another week, and another month. Question is: When we look back at the weeks and months, do we feel somewhat fulfilled with how we spent the time? Or can't we remember?
